10th Annual Community of Practice Meeting
The Past, Present and Future of an Agriculture Development Program Based on Research

The 10th Annual Andes Community of Practice Meeting looked at the past, present and future to better understand and guide research for development. A forum on understanding changes in the Andean landscape and a fair of projects took place on July 17th, both events were open to a wider group of visitors.

Objectives:

  1. Celebrating the ten years of the Andes CoP, valuing achievements and learning form the past, as well as, the action and challenges of the present to shape the strategies for the future.
  2. Reflecting on the nature and role of research for development, considering the current context in the Andean region.
  3. Based on the evidence and learning of the last 10 years, and considering the present context, undertake strategic planning for the next 5-10 years – what do we want to achieve and how?
  4. To share an annual space of exchange and inter-learning among members of the CoP and others.
